We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Orders can be placed online 24/7 at frdepot.com or by phone at 281-241-8414 during business hours.

Orders process quickly, often within hours. Contact us immediately at 281-241-8414 or custserv@frdepot.com. Once an order has shipped it cannot be modified — you would need to initiate a return after it arrives.
Sales tax is applied based on your shipping address per applicable state and local rates. The exact amount is calculated and displayed before you complete checkout.
If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly by email. You can choose to wait for a restock, substitute another item, or receive a full refund. We will never charge you for an item we cannot ship.
Shipping
Yes. Free standard ground shipping is available on orders over $74.99 shipped within the contiguous U.S. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada ship at calculated rates.
No. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please provide a physical street address when placing your order to avoid delays.
Yes, we ship to all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Shipping charges to Canada do not include customs duties or import fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Expedited options are available. All express orders placed after 11 AM CST begin processing the next business day. Transit times are business days only — weekends are not counted.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Use that number on the carrier’s website (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) to track your delivery. You can also log in to your account and check Order History.
Check around your delivery location first — carriers sometimes leave packages at a side door, with a neighbor, or at a leasing office. If you still can’t locate it 24 hours after the delivery scan, contact the carrier to open a trace, then call us at 281-241-8414.
Returns & Exchanges
You have 14 days from the date you received your order to request a return or exchange. All items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.
- All clearance/sale items are final sale — no returns or exchanges.
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, embroidered, or show signs of use cannot be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

For defective or incorrect items due to our error, FR Depot covers return shipping. For all other returns or size exchanges, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend a tracked shipping method — we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–7 days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number at custserv@frdepot.com or 281-241-8414. We’ll send a replacement at no cost and cover return shipping on the original.
Sizing & Fit
Every product page includes a size chart specific to that brand and garment. FR workwear sizing varies between brands — a Large from Carhartt may fit very differently than a Large from Bulwark or Ariat. We recommend measuring your chest, waist, inseam, and neck before ordering. Call us at 281-241-8414 for personalized fit help.
If you’re between sizes or plan to layer underneath, sizing up is a good idea. FR garments should not restrict movement on the job.
Some initial shrinkage is normal, especially in 100% cotton FR. Always follow the care label exactly.
Important: Never use bleach, fabric softener, or starch on FR clothing. These products can degrade flame-resistant properties. Use only FR-safe detergents approved by the garment manufacturer.
Yes. Many brands we carry offer tall (LT, XLT, 2XLT), short, and extended sizes. Availability varies by brand — check the size filter on any category page or contact us for help.
Yes. FR Depot carries a dedicated women’s FR workwear selection including shirts, pants, jeans, outerwear, and boots — properly cut for the female form so the garment performs as intended in a hazard situation.
FR & Safety Standards
FR (flame-resistant) clothing resists ignition and self-extinguishes when exposed to flame or electric arc. Unlike conventional fabrics — especially synthetics — FR garments won’t melt into the skin, dramatically reducing burn severity. FR clothing is not fireproof; it provides critical seconds of protection that can be the difference between minor burns and life-threatening injury.
NFPA 2112 is the Standard on Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Flash Fire. It is required for:
- Oil and gas production (oilfield workers, rig hands)
- Petrochemical and refinery operations
- Utility and pipeline workers
- Welding in many industrial applications
NFPA 70E is the Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. It defines arc flash hazard categories and minimum PPE requirements:
- CAT 1: Minimum 4 cal/cm² ATPV
- CAT 2: Minimum 8 cal/cm²
- CAT 3: Minimum 25 cal/cm²
- CAT 4: Minimum 40 cal/cm²
No. Wearing non-FR clothing — especially synthetics like polyester or nylon — under FR garments can significantly reduce protection. Synthetic underlayers can melt and cause severe burns. Most standards (NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E) require underlayers to be FR-rated or 100% natural fiber (cotton or wool).
Inherent FR fabrics (like Nomex® or modacrylic blends) have flame resistance built into the fiber — the FR property cannot wash out.
Treated FR fabrics (like FR-treated cotton) are made flame-resistant through a chemical treatment that lasts the garment’s rated life when properly laundered. Both types meet NFPA 2112 and NFPA 70E when certified.

Inspect FR garments regularly and replace when:
- Fabric is visibly worn, thin, or has holes
- Seams are compromised or repaired with non-FR thread or patches
- The garment has been exposed to chemicals that may degrade FR properties
- Care labels are missing or illegible
