Bulwark Excel FR ComforTouch Insulated Parka

Undoubted features of durability and safety are well embodied in this Bulwark Excel FR ComforTouch insulated flame resistant parka. Ergonomic and dependable, it is recommended for use in a wide variety of applicable conditions including petrochemical, electrical and other industries.

Excel FR ComfortTouch technology which is used in the outer shell fabric of this Bulwark FR parka, is aimed to provide maximum lifetime flame protection. Composition of the water repellent flame-resistant Westex Ultrasoft shell fabric is a 7 oz. (235 g/m²) twill 88% cotton and 12% nylon blend.

Insulation package is made with a two layer quilted 12 oz. (405 g/m²) 100% modacryllic fabric and secures its ability to protect from extreme high and low temperatures of natural and industrial environments.

This Bulwark JLP8 parka model was tested to measure arc thermal performance value (ATPV) and was proven to provide at least 40 calories/cm² absorption rate when exposed to an electric arc, which proves its compliance with the 4th hazard risk category (HRC4) and perfect compatibility with the standards for electric utility labor clothing.

    Due to an extremely long reach I usually have to buy a 3x coat to cover my arms but the 2x long is a perfect fit. The parka is well made and very warm. Looks good enough for every day wear.
